Information on disabled persons parking (Blue badges)

Disabled or blind people, including children over the age of 2, who live in the UK, can use the disabled persons parking scheme displaying a Blue Badge in the vehicle they are using.

This enables them to park free of charge for as long as they need at parking meters and where other people can only park for a limited time. It also enables users to park for as long as needed on single yellow lines or double yellow lines (Scotland only), depending on certain rules and restrictions.

Parking restrictions may apply in off-street car parks.
