Equipment Description

The Easi-Grip Long Reach Hoe can be used when seated or when standing at a raised bed or even when kneeling or sitting to work at ground level. It has been designed to be useful to all gardeners but is especially helpful for those who have difficulty bending, for wheelchair users and for those who want to work at ground level from standing. When used when sitting it means you can maintain an upright sitting position and garden at a reasonable length whilst still having control over the tool. The bright yellow and green colours mean it is easier to spot in your garden. It is suitable for both right and left handed people. The ergonomically-designed angled handle keeps the hands and wrists in a straight, natural position, which means that the tool is very well balanced making it easy to use and at the same time reducing strain on the hand and wrist. The metal section is mirrored-polished stainless steel which helps prevent soil adhesion. We suggest that an arm support cuff is always used with this tool so that you can use the extra strength from your forearm – this is especially relevant for those with weak hands and wrists.
