Equipment Description

This bed raiser is designed for raising beds with legs (not castors) and consists of 4 rectangular cups, which hold the bed legs, joined in pairs by wooden bars (width adjustable for use on a standard single or double bed). The unit is supplied with two sets of 4 insert blocks which go inside the rectangular cups, allowing the product to provide a raise of either 2.5in(6.3cm), 3.5in(8.8cm) or 4.5in(11.3cm). From the measurements you have given our calculations recommend a 2.5in(6.3cm) raise for your bed, which will make it easier for you to get up from. This raise is achieved by not using any of the insert blocks provided. No tools are required to fit the raiser, but you may need someone to help you fit it, because the bed needs to be lifted. This product can support a maximum weight of 500kg (78 stone), which must include the weight of the bed. N.B. If you have NOT done an assessment we are unable to tell you which products will work for you as the bed raiser you need depends on many issues including your height and detailed information about your bed. To obtain this information go to the bedroom area of the house and select the problem ‘When sitting on the edge of the bed I struggle to stand up’.
