Description
Rail is designed to provide a stable support for users getting in and out of bed. The reversible plastic base allows use on both divan AND slatted beds. The base has been improved to be slimmer and stronger. The stronger base increases the rigidity of the handle and enables a maximum user weight of 25st (160kg). The slimmer base now just 15mm (½") minimising the impact of the product under the mattress. The innovative shape of the ergonomic handle easily and comfortably enables the users lifting action from lying to sitting and from sitting to standing. It is detached from the base by two e-clips enabling it to be positioned as required for either type of bed. Supplied with two easy to fit straps to hold securely in place. Can be autoclaved to 80C. Length: 615mm (24") Width: 335mm (13") Height from bed (slatted): 515mm (20") Base depth: 15mm (½"). Maximum User Weight Limit160kg (25st)Helpful advice
Hints and tips for bed sticks and bed rails
If you sleep by yourself, in a single bed a double loop handle bed stick or bed rails can be very useful to help you turn, sit and stand up more easily. If the bed stick is not needed on one side of the bed (for example if sleeping with another adult) it can be turned down towards the floor. WARNING: We strongly advise that you do not use a bed stick/loop if you share your bed with a child, as this can cause injury/entrapment.

Help with fitting
Positioning a bed stick
If you use a bed stick, please ensure that it is fitted tight up against the mattress and that the clips are fully through the frame.
