A simple idea to assist with sitting up in bed. The bottom ends of the cords tie around the bed legs and the plastic ladder rungs can be gripped by the user to pull themselves up in bed using a hand over hand movement. PLEASE NOTE: If you wish to remain in a sitting position, you may need a carer/helper to place your pillows to support you. Rung length 20cm (8in) Cord Length 3 metres (9ft 10in). Hints and tips on how to use rope ladders
A rope ladder may help you pull yourself up to a seated position in bed. If you wish to stay sitting up to read/drink/eat etc once you are upright, you will need to move yourself back against your pillows. Remember, the rope ladder may slip off the bed while you are asleep if not secured.
